Apply for the Singleton Graduate Travel Fellowship for Research in Italy

Charles S. Singleton, one of the foremost Dante scholars of the 20th century, spent most of his career at Johns Hopkins University.

We are accepting applications for two summer travel fellowships of $3,500 each, reserved for Johns Hopkins graduate students, who need to be in Italy to work on their research. The funds are intended to cover round trip airfare and travel within Italy. Applicants must submit a CV, a description of their project, and a letter of support by a Johns Hopkins faculty member familiar with their work. Applicants should demonstrate that the successful completion of their projects would require the use of Italian literary sources, and make significant contributions to their dissertation research.
